17 real estate projects are authorized in Paseo de la Reforma
As part of the actions that seek to maintain a stability of public finances and the financial system in the face of COVID-19, the government of Mexico City authorized the immediate start of works and construction activities in 17 real estate projects located in Paseo de the Reformation and its prolongation.
Yesterday the Administrative Facilities Agreement for the Realization of Real Estate Projects was published in the Official Gazette, in addition to the list of locations susceptible to start immediately, prior to meeting the requirements and as soon as the health contingency ends.
Interested entrepreneurs must submit a registration form within the next 15 business days from this Wednesday, in addition to committing to comply with the regulations.
"There are businessmen who have shown interest in investing in Mexico City, through the realization of planned real estate projects in Paseo de la Reforma or very close, which will potentially contribute to the economic flow due to their nature and location", it is indicated in the agreement signed by the head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum
The interested parties must begin works in a time not exceeding 30 business days after the sanitary restrictions, outside of that period the validity of this agreement will be lost and the normal process of procedures will have to be continued.

In addition, it is specified that "under no circumstances may the integrity and health of the workers associated with the works and activities contemplated by the Project be put at risk, for which they must follow at all times with the safety and hygiene provisions that in this regard issued by the corresponding authorities ”.
There will be a period of six months from the entry into force of the publication of merit, “to present to the competent authorities the studies, documentaries or evidence necessary to make possible the integration of the file and the identification of the measures of prevention, mitigation and compensation of the impacts caused; the above, to the satisfaction of the corresponding authority ”.
